Seedance 2.0: The Anti-Striptease

Kai had five seconds to sweep his hair back and wink. I gave Seedance a last frame with the clothes in a different position, and they looked like they grew back.

// Dissection

The autopsy

Overall observations

The clothes looked like they grew back like nanotech. Their position in the last keyframe differed from the first, and the prompted action gave them no reason to move there.

What failed

I asked for a hair sweep and a wink while supplying an endpoint with a different wardrobe position. Seedance had to invent a transition to reach it.

Production implications

Check that the last frame is achievable from the first through the prompted action in the available time. For this take, I would align the clothing position in the final keyframe and rerun the same prompt.

// Final assessment

The verdict.

This one was on me. I checked where Kai ended up and missed where his clothes ended up. Seedance got creative because I gave it two frames the action couldn’t plausibly connect.
